Every issue is a story about wine, from wherever in the world it starts.

A bottle carries more than what's in it. The block it came off. The slope, and which way it faces. The person who walked the rows in August and decided it wasn't time yet, and the same person in the cellar three weeks later making a call they'd have to live with for years. The room where someone finally poured it for a stranger. All of that is in the glass, and almost none of it makes it onto the label.
